Meet Dr. Dressman

Chareles J. Dressman

“Remember, doctors, there is a person attached to that tooth.”

"I first heard that statement when I attended dental school at the University of Maryland where I graduated in 1984. Even after all this time there are no better words to express my philosophy of practicing dentistry. It is an honor and privilege to provide care to every patient and we want to reflect that in everything we do.”

Dr. Dressman was born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland and received  a BA in Preprofessional Studies in 1979 at the University of Notre Dame where he met his wife Diane. They reside in San Jose and have three children: Dan, Brian, and Julianne. In college, Dr. Dressman developed an interest in community service that has enriched his life in many ways. He has worked with the elderly, mentally and physically challenged, and extensively with emotionally disturbed children.

From 1994-97 he and his wife were the leaders of the Christian Family social outreach program at Queen of Apostles parish and he coached youth football, baseball, softball, and basketball from 1989-2003.

Dr. Dressman entered the United States Navy Dental Corps and was stationed at Moffett Field in Mountain View, CA from 1984-87. He has been in private practice for the past 24 years and offers a wide variety of general dental services for pediatric through geriatric patients. With a commitment to advanced dental education as well as established relationships with the top specialists in the area, Dr. Dressman and his staff are able to deliver the care you deserve to keep you smiling.
